REGINA – A 25-year-old man was seriously injured in an attack in the Churchill Downs neighbourhood Tuesday night.
Just before 9:00 p.m. police were called to the 200 block of Ottawa St. to respond to a report of a man being shot. The man was found at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment.

Upon arriving at the hospital it was determined that the man had not been shot, but had been attacked with a “sharp-edged weapon.”
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and the investigation continues.
