REGINA – A new session of the Saskatchewan legislature is to begin Wednesday with a speech from the throne.
It will outline the Saskatchewan Party government’s plan for the next year.
Premier Brad Wall has also announced that a byelection for the Lloydminster constituency is to be held Nov. 13.
Wall says he wants to make sure constituents have a representative in the legislature before the end of the fall sitting.
The seat became vacant when cabinet minister Tim McMillan resigned to become president of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
McMillan was the minister in charge of rural and remote health.
