Clouds and precipitation will push in from the southwest on Wednesday. The precipitation will start in the morning for the southern areas, and will push into the northern regions (Shuswap/Columbia) by noon.
Freezing levels will be at 2100m on Wednesday, and wet snow is possible for mountain and ski hill peaks in the area.
A brief sunny break is possible in the late afternoon.
A drier and brighter day is in the forecast on Thursday, as a weak upper ridge helps to dry out the region.
