Weather update: Thanksgiving Monday October 13th 4:30pm
Happy Thanksgiving!
A cold front over the coastal sections this afternoon will continue to push inland, and showers are expected tonight (Monday evening).
A brief drier trend will be in Tuesday’s forecast for the Okanagan, however areas to the north and the east (Columbia, Arrow Lakes) will see a much greater chance of showers on Tuesday.
As a low circulates over the waters off of BC’s north coast, it will continue to drive clouds and showers in the region for midweek. Another round of precipitation is expected on Wednesday under this moist southwesterly flow.
A weak upper ridge will ease the showers for most of the Southern Interior out on Thursday.
Okanagan – Tuesday’s High: 14 to 19C
Columbia/Shuswap/Arrow Lakes – Tuesday’s High: 10 to 15C
