NEW ROSS, N.S. – A young woman has been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed a man in Nova Scotia.
Police say officers were called to a home in the New Ross area on Saturday after reports of an assault.

Investigators allege the 22-year-old woman stabbed a 31-year-old man.
He was taken to hospital and later released.
Police say the victim and accused know each other.
Kate-Lynn Marie Kaiser is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater provincial court on Tuesday to face a charge of attempted murder.
