Fort Erie Fire Causes Over Half A Million In Damage

FORT ERIE, Ont. – Niagara Region police say a fire has gutted a dry cleaning business in Fort Erie and damaged two neighbouring shops.

Police say the flames broke out (at Pike Dry Cleaning) around 7 p.m. Sunday and engulfed the two-storey wood building.

They say no one was inside at the time and no injuries are reported.

Police estimate the fire caused more than $500,000 in damage.

The area has been cordoned off while the Ontario Fire Marshal and police investigate.
