Man charged with attempted murder in Saskatoon shooting

SASKATOON – A 22-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge in relation to a shooting on Friday morning in Saskatoon.

The accused is in custody and will appear before a justice of the peace after the Thanksgiving long weekend.

His name has not been released.

A warrant has also been requested for Wilton Devine, 28 , in connection to this incident. He is wanted for aggravated assault.

On Friday, officers were called to the 200-block of Avenue J South. A man was found suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
