Person struck and killed on King Street

TORONTO – A pedestrian was killed Thursday after being struck by a dump truck on King Street West.

The unidentified pedestrian was hit near Jameson Avenue at approximately 5:45 p.m.

Paramedics responded to the scene but the person was pronounced dead.

Traffic in the area could be slow for several hours as police investigate.
