Transportation Safety Board investigating plane landing at Springbank Airport

The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is investigating after a plane reportedly landed without proper nose gear at an airport west of Calgary.

According to EMS, the small twin-engine plane landed at Springbank Airport just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Two people were on board the aircraft at the time of the landing and no injuries were reported.

The TSB says that the plane appears to be a flight training unit and was carrying an instructor and student.

The aircraft was operated by Springbank Air Training College.

The TSB is still trying to determine whether or not the plane had proper landing gear in place.
