Two people injured in collision south of Calgary

CALGARY – Two people were injured in a crash south of the city on Wednesday.

RCMP rushed to a collision at the intersection of Highway 2A and Dunbow Road around 9:15 p.m.

When they arrived, emergency crews found a southbound pickup truck had collided with a small car attempting to cross the highway.

The 35-year-old driver of the truck and 26-year-old driver of the car were taken to hospital.

Police say neither speed or alcohol are considered to be factors.

The female crash victim remains in hospital in serious condition.
