WEST KELOWNA–Thousands of BC Hydro customers in the Okanagan are without power.

The BC Hydro website is reporting widespread outages from West Kelowna to Summerland, affecting 21,842 customers.
The estimated time for power to be restored is 11 p.m.
The outage is having a detremental effect on traffic, as drivers must treat every stop light as a four way stop.
