VANCOUVER – The Transit Police, along with the BC Coroners Service, say the victim of a recent suicide on the SkyTrain has now been identified.

Police say on Sept. 23 at 4:10 p.m. a woman was struck by a SkyTrain at Surrey Central Station and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities tried to identify her but were unable to do so and reached out to the public for help.

The woman has now been identified and Transit Police would like to thank both the media and the public for their assistance in this case.
