CALGARY – A 39-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday evening.
It happened on the off-ramp from westbound 16th Avenue N.W. onto northbound Stoney Trail N.W., just before 4:30 p.m.

Police say the victim was driving a 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle when she left the road and struck a light standard.
She was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
The Calgary Police Service Traffic Section is investigating the crash, and say neither speed or alcohol appear to be factors.
