DARTMOUTH – Halifax Regional Police have charged a 74-year-old woman after a teenage boy was stabbed in the eye in Dartmouth on Saturday.
Police were called at around 1:30 p.m. to an address on Gaston Road for a weapons call.
A 15-year-old boy had been stabbed and had to be taken to the IWK for his injury.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and was later charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
She was released from custody on a promise to appear in court as well as an undertaking with conditions.
