KELOWNA — His career in municipal politics spans more than 25 years and now a Kelowna city councillor is being recognized for his dedication.
Robert Hobson was honoured at the Union of B.C. Municipalities Convention (UBCM) Thursday with a certificate of appreciation from his colleagues across the province.

Hobson joined city council in 1988 and has also chaired the Central Okanagan Regional District board for the past 20 years.
Hobson has not confirmed if he will run in the upcoming municipal election.
