Truly timeless fashion. At 6:45  Penny MacAuley of Penelope’s Boutique shows us how to pair vintage clothes with modern accents for a fresh fall look – that won’t cost a fortune.

At 7:15 we’ll feature a book that tells the story of one family’s journey from Nova Scotia to China and back again with their first daughter Eva Marie. “Eva and Me” was written by local author John MacIntyre and his adopted daughter Eva Marie Purcell-MacIntyre. It’s a story that touches on themes of family, race, adoption, culture, and place.

Last year, more than 500 runners, walkers and wheelchair athletes took part in the Runway Run. A 5k event that raised about $55,000 for the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. At 7:45 we’ll speak with an organizer who expects this year’s turnout to surpass that.

Imagine harvesting fresh vegetables from your own garden in November.  At 8:15 Gardening expert Niki Jabbour has some easy tips on how to extend the growing season into the colder months.

You may not be familiar with the name, but for fans of hip-hop, it doesn’t get much bigger than Tech N9ne in 2014. The Kansas City born underground artist and entertainment mogul was just named one of the top earning rappers of the year by Forbes magazine. On Sunday night Tech N9ne is in Halifax to co-headline the Hopscotch Halifax music festival, and on Monday at 8:45 he joins us at the red table.
