SASKATOON – Four men are facing charges after Saskatoon police seized a rifle that had been modified to look like an assault rifle.

Police were called to the area of the 100-block of Avenue N South just after 7 p.m. after receiving a report that a group of men were walking with what appeared to be a rifle.

Responding officers spotted a vehicle with men that matched the description of the suspects.

The vehicle was pulled over and officers eventually seized a modified .22 calibre rifle.
