SASKATOON – As the Saskatoon Transit lockout continues, the city says it will be reimbursing bus riders.

In a statement released Tuesday afternoon, the City of Saskatoon says it recognizes the labour dispute is an inconvenience for transit users.

“We are currently developing a plan for effectively and efficiently managing refunds/extensions for the large number of pass holders; each type of pass has unique requirements,” said the city’s statement.

Plans for all pass holders are expected next week.
