Motorcyclist clocked 80 km/h over the speed limit

SASKATOON – A motorcyclist was clocked by Saskatoon police going 80 km/h over the speed limit on Monday.

Around 8:30 p.m., police observed a motorcyclist approaching Circle Drive on Valley Road at 170 km/h.

The 21-year-old male operator was issued a $540 ticket and his vehicle was seized.

The speed limit on that section of Valley Road is 90 km/h.

Police are reminding all motorists that speed limits are enforced for their safety.
