Saskatoon cab driver robbed by knife-wielding man

SASKATOON – A Saskatoon cab driver was robbed of his cash after a man pulled a knife on him early Sunday morning.

Police say four people, three men and a woman, got into the cab that was in a parking lot in the 3300-block of Fairlight Drive.

One of the men then produced the knife and demanded money.

The driver turned over an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled from the car to run for help.

The four suspects then got out of the cab and took off in a truck which had been reported stolen from Warman.

The first two suspects are both aboriginal males, 15–16 years of age, 5’9” and 150 pounds. One was wearing a black hoodie and the other a grey hoodie.

The only description of the woman was that she is aboriginal and wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

There is no description of the fourth suspect.

Police are also looking for a white Chevy Silverado pickup with Saskatchean license plate 623 IBB that was stolen from Warman.
