Moose Jaw man dead after being hit on Highway 39

REGINA – A Moose Jaw man is dead after being hit by a car on Highway 39 in southern Saskatchewan on Sunday night.

RCMP were called to Highway 39 about 5 kilometers northwest of Weyburn and saw a man walking in the middle of the southbound lane. One of the RCMP officers watched the man get hit by an oncoming car.

Thirty-four year-old David Colvin from Moose Jaw was declared dead at the scene.

No charges are being considered against the driver and RCMP are still investigating.
