CALGARY – One man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in the community of Bridgeland on Sunday night.
It happened in the 800 block of 1st Avenue N.E. just before 10 p.m.

The victim told police he was stabbed in an attempted robbery.
At first he returned to his home to try to take care of the wound himself, but eventually he made his way to the Peter Lougheed Centre.
He remains in hospital in stable condition. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
