Blades drop home opener against Raiders

SASKATOON – Dakota Conroy’s power-play goal at 13:06 of the second period held up as the winner as Prince Albert Raiders edged Saskatoon Blades 3-1.

Thomas Andrlik and Reid Gardiner also scored for the Raiders, who outshot the Blades 30-21.

Nick Zajac scored a short-handed goal for the Blades in the first period.

The Blades play the Wheat Kings next in Brandon on Friday.
