TORONTO – Thousands of Apple fans around the world camped out overnight to be one of the first to get their hands on Apple’s newest smartphones – the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
So you could imagine the rush of excitement Perth, Australia resident Jack Cooksey felt when he was asked to unbox his brand new iPhone 6 on live TV.
But instead of unveiling his new gadget gloriously – holding it up to the sound of cheers from the crowd – he fumbled and watched as his brand-spanking-new iPhone 6 tumbled to the ground.

“Luckily it’s covered in plastic, so its fine,” Cooksey said over the collective gasps from the crowd.
This may be the first (albeit unintentional) drop-test for the iPhone 6 – the good news is, it passed.
