KELOWNA – Two days after it happened, serious crime investigators are still on scene and Kelowna RCMP are only now releasing some information about a vicious assault Tuesday night.
That’s when screams were heard coming from a Leaside Avenue home.
Police arrived to find a 25 year old man who had been assaulted.
He remains in hospital in serious condition.
“Due to the nature of the investigation, without compromising the investigation, I can’t release the nature of the assault other than to say it’s very serious,” says RCMP spokesperson Cst. Kris Clark.
The victim is known to RCMP, who believe the assault is a targeted incident, and say the public is not at risk although no suspects have been arrested.
Police won’t say but neighbours suspect the residence is a drug house.
