With their big smiles, even bigger moves and glitzy style, the ‘lillies are expanding to Calgary and Vancouver. They have bookings in vineyards, hotel roof pools and pool bars, proving the Aqualillies are not just a fad.
The group of synchronized swimmers are hired to perform at pool parties, private events or anywhere that needs a little cheeky sex appeal. Their retro swimsuits, bathing caps and old Hollywood glamour use the pool as a stage and are often referred to as “underwater rockettes”.

The Toronto Aqualillies debuted last summer, joining teams in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and Miami. Made up of former competitive synchronized swimmers, the performance combines dance, athleticism and performance. They have starred in music videos for Justin Bieber, fashion campaigns for CHANEL and graced magazines worldwide.
An encore presentation of 16×9’s feature on the Aqualillies airs this Saturday at 7pm.
