PORT HOPE, Ont. – Police say three people are facing charges in connection with a raid on a marijuana grow-op near Port Hope, about 100 kilometres east of Toronto.
Officers from several law-enforcement organizations, including Ontario Provincial Police and RCMP, were involved in the search of a large farm property north of Port Hope.
They seized nearly 900 plants, two vehicles and various other equipment which police say was used in the grow operation.
Shun Guan Zhou, 52, Yi Lin Zhang, 62, and Kun Guan Zheng, 60, all of Port Hope, are charged with production of a controlled drug.
They are to appear in provincial court on Nov. 12.
