Man charged with second-degree murder in Prince Albert, Sask.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – The Prince Albert Police Service has charged a man in regards to a murder earlier this month.

A 41-year-old man is facing one count of second-degree murder.

The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance in provincial court on Wednesday morning.

On Sept. 6, police received a call from Parkland Ambulance to assist them with a dead male at a residence in the 1100-block of 14th Street West.

Police confirmed the identity of the homicide victim to be 43-year-old Cory Brown.

An autopsy was conducted last week.
