HALIFAX – Halifax police are investigating after shots were fired in two neighbourhoods overnight.
Officers were called to the Greystone Drive area of Spryfield around 2:40 a.m. after reports of shots fired, but they did not find any evidence of a shooting.
Residents on nearby Cobalt Walk later called police after finding several bullet holes in their kitchen window.
Police say shots also rang out on Federal Avenue in Halifax’s west end shortly after 4 a.m., striking a house.
No one was hurt in either shooting.
Police say it is too early to know whether the incidents are connected.
