WINNIPEG — After a cool week, Winnipeg started to warm up closer to normal on the weekend.
This week looks much more comfortable, with temperatures staying around seasonal or better for most of the week.
Last week, temperatures in the city went all the way down to 1.1 C. It’s the closest we’ve come to 0 since May. This week is unlikely to see that streak end.
Sunny skies will dominate the week’s forecast. As for precipitation, there’s a very slight chance Tuesday night could bring a few drops to Winnipeg, but the dip in temperatures that will accompany that part of the system will be more noticeable.
After the brief cool down, temperatures will rebound quickly as more moisture starts to move into southern Manitoba near the end of the week. Hopefully it holds off until the evening. Having a day in the mid-20s is a lot to ask for already for late September.
