MONTREAL — Three masked people forced their way into a residence on Fabre street in the Rosemont-la-Petite-Patrie neighbourhood of Montreal.
According to Lynn Duncan, a spokesperson for Montreal police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
The two people inside, a man and a woman in their 30s, were not injured and nothing was stolen.
The three suspects were armed with knives and used pepper spray during the home invasion, witnesses said.
They were apparently looking for money.
The SPVM has opened an investigation and is searching for the three suspects.
