TORONTO – A man is dead and another is in serious condition after a double stabbing in Toronto’s east end.
Emergency crews were called to the scene in the Danforth Avenue and Dawes Road area on Monday evening.
One of the men was found without vital signs and rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The second man suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in stable condition.
Police say it’s believed the incident began when several men got into an argument and it escalated to the point where knives were pulled out.
Witnesses say the suspects fled the area shortly after.
