Once there, crews found several chemicals in the building that were consistent with a drug lab, according to authorities. No one was at the scene when the emergency officials arrived.

Several neighbouring businesses were evacuated as a precaution.

Residents were asked to avoid the area as the RCMP Clandestine Lab Enforcement and Response Team surveyed the scene.
