Drivers on the Sea-to-Sky Highway can expect big delays today due to the RBC Gran Fondo race.
There will be thousands of cyclists burning up the pavement from Vancouver to Whistler as part of the race.
The 122 km route twists from Stanley Park to Whistler.
The inaugural race took place in 2010 with 4,000 cyclists. About 7,000 cyclists now participate in the race.
Organizers say motorists can expect delays of up to three hours between West Vancouver and Whistler during the hours of 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
