PENTICTION — They’re some of the NHL stars of tomorrow, in Penticton next week for the annual Canucks Young Stars Tournament, underway September 12 – 15 at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Thursday the team released the 27 player tournament roster. Fans will get the chance to see the Canucks 2014 first round pick (24th overall), centre Jared McCann and again get the chance to see 2013 top pick, Bo Horvat. Kelowna Rockets followers will also recognize a familiar face; although not signed by the NHL club, netminder Jackson Whistle received the nod to attend the prospects training camp.
