HALIFAX – Halifax police are investigating after a man was robbed while he was walking on the Halifax Common early Tuesday morning.
Police say around 5:30 a.m., two men approached a 52-year-old man who was walking between Robie Street and North Park Street and punched him several times, then took his wallet.
The suspects left the area on foot and were last seen running toward North Park Street.
The victim, who was not injured, went home and called police to report the robbery.
The suspects are both described as white men in their 20s — one was wearing jeans and the other was wearing a red hoodie and shorts.
