CHESTER BASIN, N.S. – A 14-year-old Nova Scotia boy is dead after his all-terrain vehicle struck a tree Monday.

The RCMP say the boy was riding on a trail in Chester Basin when the crash occurred.
Police say he was found a short distance away from the damaged ATV.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
