Charges laid in homicide of Okanagan woman

ARMSTRONG – After what police call an exhaustive investigation, charges have been laid in the death of an Armstrong woman.

On November 27 2013, Jillian McKinty was found deceased in her residence on Wolfenden Terrace under suspicious circumstances.

The 27 year old woman was the mother of twin sons.

Now charged with manslaughter and theft under $5,000 is Logan Scott, 31, a Salmon Arm resident.

Scott appears in Vernon court Friday.
