More money allocated for Lawson repairs

The city is investing money into fixing the air quality problem at the Lawson.

REGINA – City council approved additional funding for repairs at the Lawson Aquatic Centre.

Upgrades are needed to address air quality at the facility. In February, council approved $1.5 million in funding, but there was a shortfall of $270,000 after the city secured a contractor.

The Lawson is scheduled to re-open September 13.
