HALIFAX – One person is dead after a motorcycle accident on Peggy’s Cove Road.
RCMP say the crash near the Dover ball field by Peggy’s Cove happened just after 8 p.m. on Monday.
Police say the male motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and somehow ended up in the ditch. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No details have been made public about the identity, age and hometown of the motorcyclist.
The road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
