WINNIPEG – A mother and child hit by a car in downtown Winnipeg Friday morning are expected to make a full recovery.
The woman and her three year old child were hit at Sargent Avenue and Balmoral Street at about 7 Friday morning. Both went to hospital in stable condition, police say.

The driver of the vehicle wasn’t hurt, there was no word if charges will be laid in the incident.
