HALIFAX – Halifax police have charged a man and a woman with robbery in connection with a carjacking Thursday.
A cab driver told police he was driving two passengers in the city’s south end when they threatened him and demanded his keys.

The 30-year-old cabbie jumped out of the taxi. He was not hurt.
Police later found the cab on Olivet Street.
A 31-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested later in the day.
Police say they are also charged with breaching a court order.
They remain in custody.
