Armed break-and-enter early Friday morning in Dartmouth

HALIFAX – Halifax police are looking into an armed robbery that happened in the Montebello area of Dartmouth Friday morning.

Police say the owners of a home on Ancona Place heard a loud bang at their front door and were confronted by two masked men, one of whom had a gun.

When the men saw the home owners, they fled the scene on foot.

The suspects are described as both being in their late teens or early twenties, and were both wearing dark clothing and masks at the time.

Police say its not believed to be a random incident, and no one was injured.
