It started when a man stole alcohol from the off-sale located in the 3000-block of Diefenbaker Drive shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.
Then around 11:30 p.m., police responded to a weapons assault in the area of Spadina Crescent and Pinehouse Drive.

A vehicle was then observed being driven erratically in the 200-block of Carleton Drive around 12:15 a.m.
The air support unit located the vehicle and directed patrol and canine units to the 100-block of Hospital Drive where the vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested.
The 28-year-old driver was identified as being involved in the theft and assault and the vehicle was found to have been stolen from Wynyard.
He is charged with four counts of assault with a weapon, impaired driving, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and theft under $5,000. His name has not been released.
