HALIFAX – A Dartmouth man faces multiple charges after a pickup truck lost control and slammed into three parked vehicles.
Police say items that were in the truck were scattered across Waverley Road after Sunday night’s crash, including a firearm.

The driver of the truck was treated in hospital for minor facial injuries.
Police say the 40-year-old man faces a charge of impaired driving and five weapons-related charges.
He was released from custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
