City audits in RCMP hands

WINNIPEG-Manitoba Justice confirmed Friday it has asked the RCMP to review several key audits:  New Fire Paramedic Stations Construction Project, the Winnipeg Police Services Headquarters Construction Project and the City’s Real Estate Management Audit.

Earlier this year council passed a motion for the audits to be sent to he province after they revealed proper procedures were not followed on several key real estate transactions.

The RCMP confirms it has received the documents from Manitoba Justice.
