Go go gadgets! At 6:45 tech expert Marc Saltzman shows off new back-to-school-themed gadgets to make life easier for students and parents.

At 7:15 we’ll get an update from the folks behind CeaseFire Halifax. The group is the first of its kind here in Canada and is working to reduce gun violence on the streets of our city. We’ll talk with a program coordinator and a local “violence interrupter” who will be working in the North End of Halifax.

We’ll get an update from Karla Nicholson at 7:45. She’s the General Manager of the Quinpool Road Business Association. There’s been alot of talk about the future of the street, especially now that the city has declared the old St. Pat’s High School building surplus. We’ll get the latest on what’s in store for one of Halifax’s favourite streets.

Tomorrow at 8:15 we’re kicking off a totally tubular festival. Sausage Fest is back with even more events to whet your appetite. We get the delicious details from the organizer tomorrow on the Morning News.

At 8:45 we’ll meet an up and coming star on the east coast wrestling circuit as Sexton Phoenix joins us at the red table. The veteran wrestler is on the card for TCW Ascension taking place at The Halifax Forum this Saturday night.
