HALIFAX – RCMP say there were no injuries after a report of shots fired in North Preston.
Cpl. John Stoddart with Halifax RCMP said police were called to the North Preston Community Centre just before 4:50 p.m. on Saturday.
“There was a report of three shots fired,” he said.
There are reports a wedding was taking place inside the community centre, when the shots were allegedly fired.
“Numerous police attended the location and at this time, we haven’t found any intended victims or property that has been damaged,” he said.
Stoddart said police will remain on scene for a few hours to speak with witnesses and inspect the area.
EHS attended the scene but no one was injured.
