It’s a big weekend downtown as the 8th Annual Halifax Seaport Beerfest celebrates another year of “Beer On The Pier!” with over 110 producers from breweries all over the world. At 7:45 we’ll meet two of the event’s special guests, Nicholas Pashley, a well known author and pub connoisseur, and Stephen Clinch, beer expert and owner of Trouble Brewing in Ireland.

You have the power to make the world a better place with a simple tweet.    Founder of The 7 Virtues Barb Stegemann and social media guru Amber MacArthur come in to talk about a new campaign to inspire positive change around the world.  Find out how the Make Perfume Not War movement has already helped women stamp out corruption in Rwanda.

And we’ll wrap up the week with some live music! At 8:45 the organizers of the 5th Annual Arts & Cultural Freedom Festival  stop by to bring us the details and we’ll get a live performance from a group taking part in the event.
