Weather update: Wednesday August 6th 4pm
With a westerly flow aloft in place, temperatures will remain slightly above seasonal until the weekend.
Expect a mix of sun and cloud on Thursday, and the potential for any precipitation will stay mostly near the mountains.
On Friday, a weak shortwave trough will cross the region, but most areas will stay dry, and just very isolated showers are expected.
Weekend will be warm, sunny and dry.
In the meantime, please remember about the air quality advisory in place because of smoke coming into our region from the BC Central Interior and Washington State.
